SciVate Research LLP journal articles are blind peer-reviewed through our online journal submission platform.
Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting to SciVate Research LLP are expected to:
Confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration or accepted elsewhere.
Maintain accurate records of data associated with the manuscript and provide access to this data when requested. Where permitted by funders or institutions, deposit data in appropriate repositories.
Clearly cite and acknowledge any overlapping or previously published content.
Ensure that the manuscript is original, and appropriately reference any reproduced content.
Obtain permission for any reused third-party content (images, tables, figures, etc.).
Declare all potential conflicts of interest (e.g., financial, personal, or academic) that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Notify the editor or publisher of any significant errors identified after publication, and work with them to issue an erratum, addendum, or retraction if needed.
Editor Responsibilities
Editors working with SciVate Research LLP must:
Evaluate submissions objectively and fairly, without discrimination based on gender, religion, sexual orientation, political views, ethnicity, or geographic location.
Address ethical concerns and conflicts of interest following established industry guidelines, ensuring that authors are given a fair chance to respond.
Maintain documentation of complaints or ethical concerns, and ensure due process is followed.
Treat submissions to special issues or sponsored supplements with the same academic rigor and independence as regular issues, ensuring decisions are made solely on merit.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers supporting SciVate Research LLP publications are expected to:
Contribute to the editorial decision-making process by reviewing manuscripts thoroughly, objectively, and on time.
Provide constructive feedback to help improve the quality of submitted manuscripts.
Maintain confidentiality and refrain from using unpublished material for personal gain.
Alert the editor to any significant similarity with other published works or any ethical concerns.
Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that might compromise the impartiality of their review.
